How I got to know Shri. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala?
I have been active in stock markets since 2007 (though aware of and tracking the markets since 1993!). Since 2007, I used to read news, articles and interviews with Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. However, it was just done very superficially without knowing much about him. Indian markets hit rock bottom towards the end of October 2008. Eventually, I lost my financial and mental strength to continue investing. I was at a huge loss and could not enjoy the Diwali celebrations on Oct 28, 2008.
On that evening I happened to watch his interview. Amazing was the clarity of his thoughts and positivity. I don’t recall what ran into my mind, but had a strong feeling that good days are ahead. I put off all my worries, and spend time with my family happily eating sweets and lighting crackers. I got an investment guru that day. After that day, I sincerely started reading and watching his every interview, or media appearance.

His Optimism
He had always been very optimistic about India, stock markets and the future. His one statement, “Mother of all bull markets”, says all. In any interview, ask him about the outlook of India, he smiles and says “Super bullish”. The lesson: Being optimistic, must be the key trait of an investor.
Diwali Interviews
His interview on the day of Diwali has always been a special one. Over the last 12 years, it has become a ritual for me to watch his interview, make some investments during the special “Muhrat Trading” session and spend the evening with friends and family.
A Philanthropist
Shri. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had not only been a great investor, but also a Philanthropist. Somewhere in 2016, he declared will give 5000 Crore or 25% of his portfolio in 2021 for charitable causes. I believe that the number 5000 was close to his heart, for the reason that he started his investment career with 5000 Rupees. He did form the trust and now Shri. Radhakishan Damani holds charge of the trust.
A Book by Him...
A book covering his personal life, investment ideology, and lessons would have been a treat to all his followers. For some reason, he had not written any book. However, he has showered a lot of investment wisdom in his interviews and media appearances. Although he has not written any book, his followers can learn a lot from these resources.

This blog is a sincere attempt to create a resource page that serves as an index of all wisdom that he had shared in the past. This is not an exhaustive list. However, all your help will help me to make this an exhaustive one. Do share any other resources or links in the comments of the blog.
